about this project

As part of a comprehensive renovation of a dilapidated semi-detached house, our client envisioned a two-storey wraparound extension and an open-plan kitchen-dining space spanning the width of the building, opening onto the rear garden.

To support the steel frame around which the extension would be built, we excavated beneath the existing structure and installed  reinforced concrete foundations. Temporary works and supports were implemented to securely hold the rooms above while the steel frame was erected, allowing for the safe removal of internal walls and the creation of the desired open space.
